Vehicle Madness

Vehicle Madness 2.0.5.41

No permission to download
I'm looking for a nice vehicle mod for a fresh start, so I have a few questions about the mod. I've read the description... but I have questions...

a) There are two types of vehicles: the ones I get into and drive off, and the ones I have to repair first?

Or are there only the vehicles I have to repair (which I personally prefer)?

b) To build the vehicle workbench, do I need a certain level and skill books?

c) To build parts for these vehicles, do I need skill books, or can I build them anyway?

d) Do I have to start a new game to use the mod, or can I use it with a game I've already started? Especially with the upcoming version in mind. It would be stupid to start now when the new version 2 is coming out in 3 weeks.

Thank you :)

a) There is supposedly a rare chance that you can find a vehicle you can just get in and drive, but I've never come across one, so it would be a VERY rare thing.

b) You need to be able to build the workstation. After that, you can build any vehicle if you have the parts.

c) You mostly find the parts by scavenging vehicles. Some things have to be combined, though. For those, you don't need any skills or level. You just need the workstation.

d) Yes, you should definitely start a new game. Not sure what you mean about a new version in 3 weeks. There will likely be a 2.1 version within a week or so (they wanted it out by the end of this week and missed, so next week is likely). You don't need a new game for minor versions, though. Only for major versions like 3.0 or 4.0.

Ah, great. That sounds really good. Thanks for the explanation.

Yes, by new version, I meant an update. Not that you're starting a new game
now, but a week later the Vehicle Madness update comes out and you have
to start all over again. So I'll wait a few more days.

This Version should be good for quite a while as I did post in original overview post that "it will be ready when it's ready".
With all the Vehicle changes and swap outs we are doing on the next version it is very time consuming and then there's testing fixing any issue before we can be happy to release the updated version.

Regards
Ragsy !!
