Do you guys realize that you botched this update and released it for console as well? Now nobody that I play with can access our dedicated server. Also since I play on console I can't even report a bug because I don't have a log to attach to the report.

No thanks, I don't work here.
If you don't properly report it, they may never see it and know about it. You can't really complain if they don't fix something if you don't report it properly. But that's your choice.

If it was released on console (I find that very unlikely), then console *could* play on your server as long as you updated the server. If they can't play then the versions are different. If you updated your server, then console won't be able to play since it's *very* unlikely that they have experimental. If you didn't update it but the PC players did, then they won't be able to play.

If you still think it was released to console, can you take a picture of your main menu (or anywhere in the game where it shows the game version) since you're on console and post it here?

And yes, you can report a bug on console. There is a report bug option in the game on consoles that will send your logs to TFP. Use it and they'll see your logs.

You're actually very wrong about the server side of things. Cross play servers require a stable build to be available for console. As all of our consoles now show the experimental version that means that we can no longer access it until the build is released as stable. As far as the bug report didn't even think to use the ps5 to do that, was going directly to their bug report page.

If that picture is from console, then they definitely need to fix it. But that seems really strange... Sony and Microsoft have to approve new versions. TFP can't just accidentally release it to them.

As far as servers, the versions must match. Look at the version number. There isn't anything about it that says experimental or stable. In fact, once it goes stable, the version doesn't even change. Crossplay needs the same version number (including the "b" [build] number), which is why console can't connect if the server is on experimental (the versions won't match). If console has the same version somehow, then they should be able to connect. But I still don't think they do. But TFP can look into it and maybe someone else on PS5 can see what they see.

PlayStation users have indeed received 3.1.0 (b13). However, this is probably a mistake that should hopefully be rectified by Sony and/or Behavior/TFP.

We updated the server to match as soon as we noticed the version change but unfortunately because of the stable build requirements consoles are still left unable to connect. Why it needs to be a stable build makes no sense to me as I've played several other game that had the experimental option for console and PC both with no issues. Hopefully they fix this with a quickness as renting a server that we can't use is aggravating.

Ditto to above
I have been playing with the same person for 4 years straight and when the new update arrived we have been non stop on the 3.0 instead of the original reg version
As soon as the update hit we can no longer player together?

The restriction is set by Sony and Microsoft. They don't want anything other than stable builds of the game on their platforms.

When will the issues from previous updates be fixed? It’s great that you’re adding new things, but you’re leaving existing bugs unaddressed.

Bugs are fixed regularly. Look at the patch notes for each release and you're going to see a "fixed" section in each one. Only rarely might you not see one for a very minor update that makes some change rather than a fix. Some bugs are low priority and may take a long time to get to the top of the list of things they need to work on. Others are hard to find because they can't reliably be reproduced and so take time to find and fix. There are any number of reasons for bugs to take time to fix. They won't stop development while waiting for every bug to be fixed.

If there is a specific bug you are concerned with, make sure it's been properly submitted as a bug (see the Bug Report forum), preferably with their new bug reporting system that they added a few weeks ago, though you can still post them on the forum as in the past. If it's already reported and is marked as Confirmed, then they will fix it when they have time and it's high enough on the list to spend time on. If it is not in Confirmed, then consider what category it is in. If it's in the one needing more information and you have anything to contribute related to the bug report, doing so will help to get it moved into Confirmed. If it's in the Not a Bug section, then it won't be fixed because they don't consider it a bug. If it's in Can't Reproduce, then if you can find a way to reliably reproduce it, post the information there. Otherwise, they've tried to reproduce it and can't, so it's not being worked on anymore. And so on.

Here is what changed since b11:

V3.1.0 b13 Changelog
  • 1 Updated trader inventories to include a chance to stock chicken feed with a higher chance at Trader Rekt's
  • 2 Zombies can now target and chase rabbits and chickens
  • 3 Added a rare chance to find Solar Cells in loot to allow players a way to find them when Trader options are turned off
Fixed
  • 4 Jumping while holding a chicken doesn't stress it out
  • 5 Chicken stress doesn't transfer from player to player
  • 6 Dragging a chicken into the coop would not clear stress buff
1 Does chicken feed, have a chicken on the bag, or is it abstract? Also if it is still corn based
can basic cornmeal, and or the cattle corn feed be used?

2 That has always been fun for me, I have more timids and Hostiles and Zs than normal
but until, I can easily deal with the upper tiers, I fight for my meals. I also can use them
to clear a path. I still would need a separation class for Dogs and Direwolves and Direbears.

3 Considering that solar farms pepper the game at the moment, later can a mid to late
game tool be added similar the the wrench, that has a rare chance to extract either unique
parts associated with the solar cell, or a solar cell intact. Which can also do the same for
Dew collectors and Coops. Abstract application, the objects are in the game, the game logic
is based on using makeshift, devices. A late tool like that could be set to random chance of a
fully functional or damaged needing repair object that is in game. Examples: garage door,
barbed wire rolls, damaged cars, basically Dev placed objects that normally require DM/CM
entry. The tool could be crafted with real difficulty, or can be rarely found in high tier high
biome areas. Like Taza's Axe rarity but only in those areas, and or The parts can drop only from
neon elites, with true applied to the above conditions. or something similar. The reason for
suggesting the cars. Is the reason I never got into building bases. I can't do this in game so I go
seek them out. If I could, I'd build more.

4 Is that like a Qbert jump, Or a Dorothy running through the poppies jump? I'm just thinking
about personal application, in game.

5 So no mad chicken disease, that's highly disappointing.

6 You can chase, choke em, pack em in a pillbox, raise em for slaughter, but you draw the line at
dragging them around. Good to know.
