Agreed. TFP don't know, so whatever window they put out there will probably miss the mark, and people will complain anyway. I'd rather not know than "totally June!" and it releases like 3 months later. lol
 
I’m not sure if it’s about dates or promises it’s just that right now we have no real idea what we’re actually going to see in 3.0. I have my own little “conspiracy theories” about what might be in the update, but at the end of the day, they’re just guesses. I can wait for 3.0, that’s not a problem.

But I also consider 2.5 as major update, so I start wondering whether 3.0 will also be another big milestone like previous major updates, with things like a dev stream or a streamer weekend. We haven’t really even gotten confirmation on that kind of basic stuff.

What’s confusing is that Lathan from the Fubar Prime channel on Twitch told me, when I asked him during a live stream, that there will be a streamer weekend, so I don’t understand if this is supposed to be some kind of secret now, or why even that kind of information can’t be shared.Also, if there is going to be a streamer weekend, does that automatically mean there will also be a dev stream?:unsure:

I just want to know what I’m actually waiting for even a small hint about what might be coming in the update. Nothing major, just a bit of direction so it doesn’t feel like pure guessing.

Finally, I’m not even sure if the chicken coop is supposed to be in 3.0. As far as I know, nothing has been officially confirmed, which is why I’m a bit confused, even though Joel mentioned on Reddit that it would be in 3.0. Everything feels a bit mixed up I don’t really care about dates, I just want some information but maybe I should just be more patient about it.

I'd prefer to get insight on what they're doing and think they might get some early feedback from the community, but given that many folks turn that into unreasonable expectations, or jump to bizarre conclusions, I can see why they don't.
 
I am not asking for dates...I agree that the OLD COMPANY was terrible at hitting self imposed dates.



***Captain Obvious Moment*** they are very behind on delivering what we paid for. (some of us twice and at a much higher price)

I am asking them to give us what THEY SAID THEY WOULD. Like what changes are coming. This acquisition is supposed to see us get more updates faster...be nice to hear approximately when that is going to kick in. Be nice to know how this is going to be monetized. Be nice to know if they plan on pursuing the "live service" model...and what that might mean for the game. If they ever plan on removing the older versions.

There are legitimate questions...and they did say that they would tell us at least something...definitely not as much as we might like to know, but, they did say they would make a ■■■■ing effort. I'm just asking WHERE IS IT?

There should be some news within a week.

I will say that today I added a new RWG biome layout of Circle 2, as a personal side task, which I am looking forward to playing on. Small feature, but cool as it gives you two separated versions of each biome.

i really hope we can get more RWG biome styles soon like the one were all biome borders have rivers and a Navezgane style with Snow up north and desert down south

Still great work and thank you for your hard work

More options are always good. :)

You should sneak in some river improvements so you can tell them to divert some of the new help to getting that raft up and floating...

Has bE appointed a new director to oversee economic balance?
What I mean by this is whether there will be someone responsible for addressing the existing flaws that negatively impact the overall economy: for instance:
A) players utilizing variants to craft items at the expense of the variant and subsequently selling them or dismantling the items for (+cheese gain)
B) the issues with trader vending machines that feature AI sellback, which enables players to (cheese buyback items at inflated prices)
C) the problems associated with selling period, and overall, the game is significantly flawed in terms of its economy.

How about the new directors focus on fixn some of this stuff instead of adding a bunch of broke settings?

It’s hilarious that you are attempting to smear the very thing that will breathe life into PvP like no other update before it. Many of the “broke settings” are meant to return the game to the days before there were RPG elements and player progression— you know? The golden age of PVP for this game?
