PC V3.0 Sandbox Siege Dev Diary

I might be one of the few but I dont care too much for bandits. I do like some of the wilder zombie mods out. Romero's, Darkness Falls, and Sorcery. I mainly want more replay-ability, blue/orange demolitioners roaming around, higher end game pois and missions. I want brutal infested tier 6 pois. I want stronger blocks to help fight these hordes in bases. I want massive wandering hordes not the little 10 zombie nonsense that is out. Im hoping these sliders help make this custom stuff happen for me personally.

Personally the only thing I miss in 7D2D is the possibility to not feel alone all the time.
Bandits are (kind of) a stopgap solution to that, but I'd also like if they introduced some form on NPC beyond the traders.

Just to clarify, I don't want ALL the world to feel populated, but I'd love if there were a few small groups trying to survive here and there. That would give the whole adventure more meaning after a while (helping communities, trading with them, defending people from bandits).

I can for sure agree with that. Having a hire able companion would be nice! Other NPCs hanging out in the traders. There is a supposed Duke gang/kingdom but we never see any indication of that. The world building needs some work and bandits could really help with that. Im not saying I dont want them but it isnt super high on my personal list of things I crave. It would still be an amazing improvement.

when everyone is guessing what 3.0 contains and only one hint has been given and the developers haven't shared much information yet about what 3.0 contains. I think the gameplay simulation is the only information about 3.0
I’m confused. You first say we only get sandbox options, then that it’s the only thing known, and then you describe this update as poor.🤔

Don`t be confused mate, it is part of pre-release rhetoric by many of the players with some expectations. Usually there are posts from devs to clear out stuff like that at some point and that is what we trust. Nothing to bother about ;)

We still have several bugs to smash before it's ready for experimental, but play testing is going great so far!

At this stage, is there any way to let people know which features are going to be configurable? Or is that still being worked out?

For example, I have a mod that removes XP from killing things. Are things like XP gains from certain activities going to be included in the configurable features? If so then my mod won't be needed in 3.0.
