PC V3.0.0 b257 EXP Update

One of our QA peeps got it by changing her download region in Steam>Settings>Downloads. 🤷‍♂️

I've notified the team of this issue to see if there is something going on in the backend.
Changing regions didn't work.

I had to use SteamCMD to force download it. The only problem is, I have to rename the folder and launch the game from the exe otherwise Steam will try to install the previous version.

Try my method above, has worked for a few people I've sent it to so far.

Actually I found a way that doesn't require anything to be uninstalled.
You just gotta delete (or rename if you want to be safe) a few things.

Completely exit Steam.

Rename or delete this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache

Rename or delete this file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\config.vdf

Rename or delete this file:
(WHEREVER YOUR STEAM GAMES FOLDER IS)\Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_251570.acf

Relaunch Steam. It'll show like 7 Days to Die is no longer installed. Click install, tell it to install where your current 7 Days install is. It'll start validating files and then continue to download the June 22 experimental build, if you have Steam set to the latest experimental build that is.

Yea. I believe it's due to the appmanifest_251570.acf containing the private depot you guys where on during the stream weekend. Normally it will still update, so I'm assuming steam have changed something with the private depot branches in the acf file. Hopefully TFP can just change that password to something else which will remove that build and allow peeps to update without having to mess about. Downside with that tho, is if any content creators are trying to use the old build, steam may force update them depending on their steam settings.

Glad you've got it sorted tho! (PS. Love your zombie mods btw, been using them myself, but still hate the football player!)

hey, my settings for my backpack is limited, but when i crafted a workbench i noticed something wrong ,whenever you wanna carft something on your workbench for example a iron door you see a timer runing but when you leave the workbench and then go back in the iron door is gone, i have tested it with multible items like ductape, wrench and more and when i leave bench and go back into the bench all dissepear for some reason

What is "IsDayNumber buff requirement" under added? What is the impact?

That is a new requirement type that can be applied to buffs.
Code:
<requirement name="IsDayNumber" operation="GTE" value="2"/>

Currently only being used to remove the Duke tool belt message buff after day 2.

As stated by @zztong, this will clear the buff for anyone that joins a multiplayer game after day 2.
We hope to eventually remove the Duke Note with other features coming in a future update.

Very interesting I cant wait for bandits to find me soon in the bathroom of a rest stop and demand danger money and they break my knees, balls, booty and Richard for not paying them 3000 dukes on day 3

After latest exp version update I started my game today to see it back to 2.6.
Switched to latest experimental of course and all went good and smooth, no needed to start new game also. Weird.

P.S. I checked and it was set to latest_experimental in Steam when I started the update from last night 😇

Zombies have a chance to land hard and take regular and unclamped damage from a fall
This is a fixed percentage. In the spirit of 3.0, I would like to ask for this chance to be configurable from 0-100%, as well as the damage scale being configurable like other damage scales.

Someone else mentioned that as well. It didn't switch for me, but my update happened when I started the game from the desktop. Maybe that worked differently from auto-updates in Steam when you're not playing?
