Not really, it just makes you handier than most.

There’s a different thread about it. But here in the 2.6 thread we can get back to why they messed up the dew collectors of 2.6.

Seeing as how people complained about the Fun Pimps removing glass jars, and they have now returned dew collectors are useless.
Fire trucks and fire hydrants are in the game but no fire extinguishers? The game needs more Deco items!
Once was really odd but twice? I'm on day 26 and taking it slowly, so I just have a bicycle (almost ready for the motorcycle). After getting the bike, I have now found 2 other bikes on the road, perfectly fine and usable. I took both with me and they still are in the inventory at my base. So I have 3 bicycles. I've never found a working bicycle in the wild before, last one was just in the middle of the road on the way to Trader Joel. Anyone ever have this happen? I'm on V2.6 b14 and have been since starting this playthrough.

Sounds like you are using Vehicle Madness. There aren't usable vehicles of any sort in vanilla beyond what you craft or buy.
It's A. Not vanilla, B. A server or C. Co-op and your friends are trolling you.

That's another possibility, yeah... other players leaving bicycles on the ground unlocked. If you're on a server or P2P, you should probably not be taking vehicles you find.

Show a log. No usable vehicle is in the vanilla game unless someone crafts or buys it.
