PC V2.6 EXP - updated b14

10) Sexual T-Rex was cut during one of the perk rebalances a long time ago. We have more perks overall now than we did when sexual T-Rex was the name of one of the perks and, once again, this is another example from years before the timeline that was being discussed.
A tragic error, in my book. I don't have any issue with the mechanics change, having a skill critical to all melee locked into strength wasn't good, but losing the predator reference was sad.

Personally I think TFP should have gone the other way and doubled down, there were so many good options:

'Ain't got time to bleed' would have fit perfectly as the top level of Pain Tolerance, 'Get to the choppa' would work as the top level of Grease Monkey, and 'If it bleeds, we can kill it' fits better than 'Samurai' for the top level of Deep Cuts.

If you really wanted to push it you could have had 'No need to say it twice' as the top level of Pack Mule.

This one is pretty helpful for me. Trying to get third person gameplay after using GM involved about 2 minutes of trying to figure out if you were moving at default speeds purely by if the animations looked a little wonky or very wonky.

You could just relog but that's admitting defeat.

At the time, I argued against the mechanic changing, because at that point, you could theoretically randomly find a steel spear or something while you were still using a wooden club, and I liked not being tied to a weapon.

Unfortunately, that's not really a thing anymore, so it doesn't really matter. But I still wish I wasn't tied to a weapon.

Ignoring the AI explanation that really doesn't say anything useful since it doesn't give any specific information about what was fixed and just gives a general explanation about what a "hitch" is, I'd also be interested in an actual answer about this question. Are we talking about things like small drops in FPS when turning the camera and seeing an area with too many tris? Or are we talking about chunk loading issues when driving fast through a town? Or something else? It would be great if it was the chunk loading problem since that's really frustrating, but I kind of doubt that's what was fixed.
What would be the point for them to try and explain the "hitch" when the majority of people dont even know how to clean their player profile each update? To me when they used that term was good enough just simply meant they caught something in the code that was causing fps spikes and fixed it or something to that effect.

1) start the game from your library
2) select show game launcher
3) click in the tools tab
4) click on clean game files and check all circles (only check player profile if you dont want to lose maps)
5) click clean
MAINTENANCE: integrity
1.right click game in steam choose propertys
2.choose installed files
3.choose verify integrity wait for download after you clean verify integrity of game files

If you dont see the game launcher after clicking PLAY you need to enable the launcher.
Right click on the game and go to PROPERTIES, Under the GENRAL tab, find the "Selected Launch Options' and make sure its set to "Show Game Launcher".
This will then allow you to see the Game Launcher now when starting the game and it is from this menu where you can clean your player profile.

Now its B14 and still not released so my estimation of TFP not releasing the update till 2030 or even 2050 the way its going is coming true . Which means 3.0 will be in 2090.. Thank God TFP don't run NASA as humans would never go to space at the pace TFP operates...
...that's how experimental releases work. You would think them improving performance for your struggling console would be something you'd be happy about. Why are so many of the console users that post here so dense?

I miss being able to craft a beverage cooler, when they updated the model the option to craft these went the way of the dodo.

It even added a subtle light affect, I made these every chance I got for the added ambience.
Which update are you referring to? The update that added an actual beverage cooler? Prior to that, the "beverage cooler" was just a regular block with a painted side that looked like a beverage cooler. Or was there some other beverage cooler before A20?

You could craft them and use them for storage, it cast light as well.
There was a coooler paint option but why use that when you could make the real ones.

Without reverting back to alpha 19 20 maybe 21 🤷‍♂️ I couldn't tell you the alpha number they were in.

Why would TFP make those available again? They were ugly compared to the new ones. Maybe they could make the new ones craftable? This way, you could store drinks in them... But what's the point of all this? You can store drinks in regular containers anyway.
We might as well ask TFP to make working washing machines and dryers and add the option where clothes get dirty and you have to wash them... Why would that be fun in a game like this? Next thing you know is that people will ask for robots to take care of those things for them because they're too lazy to do the work... Even if they were asking for it.
I know about making the game look better and all, but wanting to add things just for the sake of looks and no other apparent reason is not necessary and (in my view anyways), not wanted.

What made you think I wanted the old ones?

It would be better than nothing, but I'd rather have the newer ones even if they don't light up like the retro versions.
