That is about 110.94 in dukes. He is putting an eye on the enemies. That`s the way. What happened to when you get a PC you will mod this... bla bla bla... And mod that... bla bla bla?

Basically there will still be small and big releases, but anything that is a feature release would be a major number change. If we applied that to previous releases, 2.5 would be called 3.0 and 2.6 would then be 3.1.About that Faatal-quote: I would assume it means there will be less minor versions. So for example there would be only 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2, not up to 3.6 like currently
The only consequence I can see would be that console players would be less often out of sync with PC servers.
With the help of an apiary, you can kill bees, as well as greatly lower the FPS of the server - I recommend fixing this so that bees do not fly out from each opening.Basically there will still be small and big releases, but anything that is a feature release would be a major number change. So 4.0 will not be the story and stuff? You'll obviously have bigger releases between now and then, besides just bandits. Are we looking at 10.0 for gold version now? Not sure what the point is. Version numbers are already a mess and confuse people, so I suppose you can mess them up even more and it won't matter.Basically there will still be small and big releases, but anything that is a feature release would be a major number change. Im still working on that but time isn't as common as I would like. Hense why I've bearly been onWhat happened to when you get a PC you will mod this... bla bla bla... And mod that... bla bla bla?

I guess your mind is too much focused on the bear. One example would be: The bear can barely fit in a doorway.Hense why I've bearly been on
As I said maybe a month ago, we are changing how we divide up features into releases and what those version numbers will be. Expect it to not be what you are used to.So 4.0 will not be the story and stuff? You'll obviously have bigger releases between now and then, besides just bandits. In a single-player game this is true, but on a dedicated server things are not so clear-cut.That's exactly what i was thinking too recently like, 99% of the world remains untouched yet it causes all these issues lol
Version numbering is a whole philosophical topic. I remember really laughing out loud at the moment in the book "Just for Fun: The Story of an Accidental Revolutionary" where Torvalds explained why the kernel is numbered the way it is. Especially his line: "I was too optimistic."Basically there will still be small and big releases, but anything that is a feature release would be a major number change. If we applied that to previous releases, 2.5 would be called 3.0 and 2.6 would then be 3.1.
so I ask again...can you clarify that? or are "we" waiting for the updated road map to explain it?As I said maybe a month ago, we are changing how we divide up features into releases and what those version numbers will be. Expect it to not be what you are used to.
It is like the energizer bunny, He just keeps going and going and going........so I ask again...can you clarify that? or are "we" waiting for the updated road map to explain it?
take that with:As I said maybe a month ago, we are changing how we divide up features into releases and what those version numbers will be. Expect it to not be what you are used to.

both of them assumed it meant that TFP would group more of the changes into less updates.Fewer minor versions means longer times between updates (that's both good and bad) so that you can get more into those fewer minor updates instead of having a larger number of more quickly released minor updates. It also means that there are fewer times when mods need to be updated and fewer times when players may want to start a new game for the new update (even if it isn't required) so that they can see all of the new things.
So I am just asking THEM to clarify what they are talking about...maybe even a why they are changing the update numbering system. Is it going to be explained in the updated road map MADMOLE said (on Dec 30th) they would announce soon? these seem like reasonable questions.Basically there will still be small and big releases, but anything that is a feature release would be a major number change. If we applied that to previous releases, 2.5 would be called 3.0 and 2.6 would then be 3.1.
I mean, they are I guess. Just coming from you it gets tiring. Also, Joel said there would be an updated roadmap, so I'd imagine there will be. Why hasn't there been one yet? Logical, rational brains would assume simply because it isn't ready yet. But keep asking, I'm sure they'll speed it up just for you. Honestly wish they would just to shut you up, but you've already proven you'll just move onto something else and keep whining.these seem like reasonable questions
appreciate the honesty...it is sad and petty (imo), but, at least it was honest. maybe if more of you asked critical questions it would not just fall to the few.I mean, they are I guess.
