I think @Shemasheko may be on PS5, my husband is getting the same issue so your fix won't work.

AWS is back online here in Germany!
Server is up running and the game starts without any problems!

That depends on the new content. New POI won't be in a current save, for example. Changes to storms would work in a current save. New items like the apiary would work in a current save.
