PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

The simple solution is to stop letting Rick be the one to say things. It seems like he's the one who always over-estimates or tries to get players hyped for something that isn't happening or remotely ready, causing Lathan and Joel to try and shut him up during dev streams and such.

I do agree the game needs more content. And that's why I never shut up lmao. And soon ima work on a video about progression 

but in terms of polish at least on console. It runs pretty good.  I'm on Xbox X. I have a S and I might give it to my girl to play with me. So I'll see how that runs. 

And in terms of dates... I use to be an ark player so dates aren't real! But I understand the frustration.  

While I don't like the Pimps only telling us hard core forums user's dates while leaving the public in the dark. That's not up too me. If I could run an official news site I would. 

Im.still worred about bloodmoons and I understand why they are doing it but they should just combine forces and work on 7dtd. 

Imagine how quick updates could get done. Or how big they would be

As far as I know, there are a couple of people from TFP working on Bloodmoons. The rest is done by another group of developers (one could say that TFP acts as an ideological inspirer) So it doesn't affect the main product.  I have no problem waiting another month for V2.0EXP. I haven't played for a long time, so I have something to remember before V2.0EXP. I don't think it will take more than a month to finish the content and fix bugs. I think we'll see DEV streams much earlier than in a month.

So I guess that you are not aware after all. I mean, the studio that makes 7 Days Blood Moons was hired for that specifically, and not to be pulled from that project and to be working on 7 days to Die, just because you are not happy with the delay.

If there was no 7 Days Blood Moons, there would be no iLLOGIKA involved.

TFP have control and have enough people to work on 7 days to Die. If there's a delay, there's good reason for it and we all win in the end. The game will be as good as it can be when Update 2.0 is finally out.

I guess I didn't word it well enough. Sounded better in my head vs noted. 

Yes: I know Illogicka is working on bloodmoons and only a handful of TFP staff too oversee, And I know the delays have nothing too do with them

I'm just saying in a perfect world where it's Like the pine forest "sunshin and rainbows and bunny's running around"

I'm just saying it would be nice if they combined forces too work on 7 days to due rather then a new game.  

I understand why they want a new Game.

Money, Expand the franchises, Money.... ummm, And a different style of game also money.  And hey more money for both studios is good. Especially tfp. I do want Blood Moons too be good. Cuz if it isn't that could leave a bad name for the franchises and that's a lost investment 

Saying in a perfect world. That would be nice.  That's all

I was only stating facts as I know them and yes it should be no surprise to those who follow the game. Companies are not monolithic entities, but composed of individuals with different opinions, skills and goals. I do programming and am not an official spokesperson for the company and can not and do not make official posts, only giving out bits of info as I can. Anything I say, may or may not be correct and is generally only my opinion or what I observe.

Sure, someone could update the roadmap, but if I was making it, you would not see any dates on it as I know disclaimers are ignored by a large part of the player base.

Yes, that was a basic estimate equivalent to saying "middle of the month" as initial experimental releases have been on Friday for streamers and the following Monday for many years now. Quiz: If I said early May or mid May or late May, could anyone guess a date?

Based on my experience, if you had say early may, we would have people asking in discord if the update was already out starting late April.

Well said and I completely agree. 

As Faatal said, they should not even put dates as people take that as gospel....and rightfully so. They are just excited to get the update as we are and those dates just tease. 

It'll be out eventually guys and it'll be worth it. I've been around since 2016, started on console when it launched, (PS4) so I realize that frustration as well.
