PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

I mean, it's cheap and won't affect performance. The biome already has smoke/haze, but they need a way to indicate to the player that the smoke is affecting them, similar to the red we already get when we're injured or green when we're dealt radiation damage. Seems consistent and logical.
Kinda wish there was a bit more fog like alpha 15 but it would look weird when not in the biome.

@Adam the Waster

Can you give detail, please? Are you talking about the level in the picture or when you play now?

Also are you talking about the intensity, or tinted color?
The old one had this smokey look too it but I still like the one we have now

On another note:

I do hope the burnt forest has more burning zombied roaming it. Even if some are slow like the old days

The 2.0 pic didn't have noticable particle gen.

So, you mean with addition of particles, like in the second picture, is what you like better.

I didn't realize. Well like I said definitely doable, so if you post it as a detailed pimp dream

Regarding console settings, or settings in general, they may do it, or at least give you a

better answer than I could provide. Until just now, I thought from the way you would post

it was desires but you just didn't want to mod. That is why I offered help.

I reaaaally like the new look in Blood Moons. Is there any plans for this coming to the main game in any way or is this purely for the side game? :D excited for it im gonna wreck my brother in it.

I just wanna see the extra items, props, zombies and weapons for extra progression.

Imagine if TFP and illogicka combined forces too finish the game plus add on too the base game

Then again I'm sure that would be expensive and I'm sure illogicka and TFP would like some cash flow so I understand why they want a new game but still.

You have to ask him what exactly he meant by it. If the zombies can't see or reach you though they attack structure and have been for a long time. Additionally they randomly go into destruction mode even if they could reach you. So what is missing there in your opinion?

Also, I don't know if I ever have played a "traditional" tower defense, but I have played a few and in all of those the enemies have  not attacked any defense towers but were simply walking to their destination, the central tower (as far as I remember). If you were controlling a toon in the game yourself they would attack you though. Now in 7D2D you are essentially the central tower and the zombies already attack you. So I don't think you can argue with tradition in this case. Except if you played the original mod from warcraft and can tell me what happened there, I have no knowledge of how the mod worked in that regard.
I assume you're referring to DOTA (which was a Warcraft 3 map/mod) that was the origin of the MOBA genre.  Tower Defense has been around a lot longer than that.  While not all tower defense games have enemies that attack your towers, some do.  It seems to depend how the towers are depicted.

Defender's Quest is a Tower Defense where your "towers" are people, and they will be attacked by some (not all) enemies.  Other games like Defense Grid the towers are robotic towers, and don't get attacked.  In other games there are towers that summon units that block the path, and those units can be attacked (and will usually respawn on a timer) but the tower itself doesn't get attacked.  There are also games like Orcs Must Die! where some of your towers are immune to attack, while others (that are actual units that can be placed down) can be attacked.  So obviously, there's lots of variety (yes, I really like Tower Defense games.  It's the primary reason I bought 7D2D.)

I wouldn't mind seeing it as an option in the game, or perhaps a mod, but there is no way I would play it with this style all the time.

A comic book style is good for games that are supposed to be "cartoonish" or "arcade-like." (That's why it fits games like Borderlands or Void @%$#s so well.) It fits Blood Moons because that game is purely PvP and tower defense without the survival aspects. I don't think it would be appropriate for 7D2D.

EDIT: I didn't realize the name of the "Void..." game would be censored. The second word starts with "B". You can look for it on Steam.
