V2.0 b289 EXP

While the effect of the Intelligence Mastery book is very strong, in multiplayer it is more efficient for players who do not have Intelligence Mastery not to plunder or read. Is there a way to overcome this?

View attachment 34800in the console with the release of 2.0 there were many yellow lines, will this be fixed? this is very alarming
These would be alarming if the lines were colored red, which would be an error. Yellow means it's just a warning ("WRN") and has no substantial impact on the game. Go look through your PC's Event Viewer. You'll see tons of warnings while never experiencing any negative issues with your PC.

Are you aware of the lags clients have?

Choping a stump, getting a honey, but the receiving message pops up 3 secs later.
Even clients' hit sound / animation are out of xync.

The existence of Sledge Saga Vol. 5 is currently the reason playing anything other than Sledge feels inefficient.
The best solution would be a nerf to a 20% bonus XP and implement a counterpart for every other weapon book. Some of them already have perk overlapping or weird effects anyway. This would give players an additional reward for achieving headshots and wouldn’t make them feel like they’re wasting time by not using the Sledge.

I am quite impressed that this game-breaking bug has been resolved so promptly.

The only question I have is how this issue went unnoticed in the weeks leading up to the 2.0 released?
I heard numerous times testers where already playing and testing the build prior to the release;
nearly everyone who joined our server observed the problem on the first day.

Easy answer. It wasn't a bug. It was a design choice that was intentionally implemented as part of the biome progression changes. As with all experimental builds they watched players play and listened to feedback from various sources and decided to return the lootstage bonuses. Why did they release the game with that change if they had been playing in the weeks previous? Because it didn't bother the play testers and it was functioning as intended.

TFP seems to have a much higher tolerance for slow progression than many in the larger community do. WIthout the loot stage bonuses the progression is a lot slower than with them. The incentive to move to the next biome doesn't really hit until you've reached the loot cap for the biome you are in and want better stuff. By keeping the lootstage bonus in people will feel an incentive to progress through the biomes as quickly as possible. WIthout the lootstage bonus people are more likely to play in each biome for awhile whereas with it people are more likely to rush the biome progression and only stay in burnt forest, desert, and snow fleetingly as simply a means to an end to get to wasteland with the best lootstage bump.

Since TFP values slow progression and envisions a game where time is spent in each biome it is easy to see that nobody on the team was bothered by the removal of the lootstage bonuses and were happy to spend time in each biome.

I agree that the lootstage bonus is better because those who don't care about rushing can still play out each biome methodically while those who need to rush (such as in a PVP server) can do so.

Yeah, have to be honest, I didn't even notice it was removed in testing.

Agreed maybe it could be like 2x headshot damage instead or critical damage via chest shot but I also like the xp too

Then it would be better to paint it green, but this way it causes concern
Warnings are typically yellow. But they are still just warnings. Green would mean no issue at all. In most cases, warnings can be ignored. But they are there so you (or more often the devs) can look into things to see if there is anything that needs to be improved. And some warnings are there temporarily through experimental as the devs test things.

pleasee mae bacpac larger by default, cant even loot 1 poi without having to dump poo
Inventory space starts low and gets better with time. You just need to choose what to keep and what to leave. Or else put a crate outside to drop stuff off and pick it up later. Or else just come back and finish looting later. As you progress, you get a lot of extra space from vehicles and drone with for cargo mods installed, so there isn't really any reason to increase it in vanilla. For PC, there are mods that increase it if you want.

So are we fr gonna have to keep relying on solely books and mags for levelling up skills? I miss when crafting stuff would also help level up skills. It made sense to have both.

Also, does this mean weather is going to affect us once again then? Because I've noticed that there's no point in using things like coffee to go to the snow area or yucca juice/smoothies for the desert, for example, aside from the stamina perks. Rain doesn't make us cold anymore if we just stand in it. Therefore, there's also no point in using mods for weather or having to put skills into those perks.

It would also be nice to see more food recipes that give different bonuses or just recipes in general.

Yes, magazines are here to stay. No LBD.

Storms affect you. That is all. Even in the last, getting wet didn't exactly matter. Neither did getting cold or hot. The minor debuff could easily be ignored.

I have been encountering this new console spam frequently on our server; when it occurs, it significantly causes everyone on the server to lag.
I am uncertain if it is indeed a bug, but it is certainly something new that i can not recall seeing prior.
Is this someting i need to report or are tfp aware of this?
