PC Using Duplicate Schematics

Can't check till tonight but has anyone attempted to use a schematic more then once to see if the game blocks you from wasting it?

I think there might be a problem with thread and needle vol 3? It says it is required in order to build running shoes yet I still can't make running shoes. Also are all the painting magazines gone now?

Selling it to trader is better than getting xp from it,It give only 50xp.
