Twitch Purple Pimp Hat drop Bug

Both times I watched the streams and on twitch side I have the hat in inventory and claimed, however in-game it's not showing up. My game account on twitch is connected properly and I have had no problems with collecting unlocks for other games.

Clean, unmodded 7 days to die game v2.2 (b1) latest experimental build, running from steam.

I read that you have to start the game at least twice to be able to claim that silly hat.

That was supposed to have been fixed in a 2.1 hotfix. That fix came out a day before 2.2 so I would think that build would have it but maybe it didn't make it in for some reason? Do you have the issue if you try on 2.1b10?

I know when I tried getting mine it wasn't until I launched with EAC on, no mods, through Steam directly did it show up. But I looked later when running my mod testing version and it was gone again. But that was before the hotfix.

I restarted over 10 times at this point in vanilla, and countless times when playing modded.

I just happened to accidentally open the command dialogue menu while logging in (I'm also having troubles having it show up in game) and saw an error message scroll through about an error in connecting with the server for twitch drops.

I am still not seeing my twitch drops on v2.3(b6) Experimental and in the console getting the same error upon loading in:

Could it be a regional problem? It looks like the game is getting the drop entitlement information from EOS. I've seen recent complaints from people unable to play with friends because EOS is blocked in their region.

I've encountered this error, and it appeared after the release of the 2.4 EXP build. There was no such problem before. Using a VPN helped some players: they would connect with a VPN, authenticate, and then disconnect it and not use it again.

Deleting the account link at https://drops.thefunpimps.com/ will cause the Twitch Dropsskins you obtained in-game to disappear.
If this is intended behavior (or "working as designed"), I'd like the skins to be managed in the Steam item inventory, similar to other games.
I don't want to leave my Steam account linked for security reasons.

Completed the MP drops, disconnected & reconnected with twitch. Still getting the error message on log in about connecting with twitch and none of the three items show in solo or MP server games.

I was replying to Subquake. Anyway, I'd guess there are multiple problem because different solutions work for different people. For me I got all the drops right away, even though for a long time twitch still said I needed to connect the accounts. That finally got sorted, so all good. Well, except for this.

This was very helpful, because I had no idea you had to do this step and I think you shouldn't really. And no one who I asked about my issue suggested to do this particular step. Everyone said you have to make sure your account is connected on twitch, not on tfp website.

I tried the delink-link thing a couple times and have not seen any progress in getting the drops to appear. Still getting the fetch twitch entitlements error on loading in.
