Hi, do you have a third party antivirus installed, besides windows defender? If so, which one? Something is blocking the TCP port connection from the error

i have tried opera gx as thats my main browser aswell as google chrome (freshly installed) and microsoft edge all containing the same timeout issue
i unfortunatly have no clue what brand or model my router is as my family set up the internet in my house and i have absolutely no knowledge on how that functions edit : i was able to look up some information on my router and its a "KPN Box 12" and was also able to access the routers dashboard on my browser but it doesnt seem to be filtering anything out

did some tinkering with the routers firewall (probably a bad idea in hindsight) but i managed to fix the connecting issue! all i had to do was change it from medium to standard.
thanks for giving me the idea to check my router! i dont know how long i wouldve tried anything else for otherwise. thanks for all the help yall are the best <3

Ah hah! Nicely done. I was going to type out a walkthrough on how to get your model number and everything then give you steps, but you did it successfully it seems :)

Don't fret on the security, most of the security settings on typical routers are very overzealous and the things they protect against don't affect the 99% of consumers, so lowering the security levels/disabling parts/disabling it entirely is generally a thing to do (even disabled, the most basic of web attacks will still get caught by your ISP/Modem as well as your router, those sort of protections you can't disable unless you are very technical). Mostly, they serve to annoy the end users in cases like this (although it seems your "standard" setting is letting you operate as normal, which means it's giving you the helpful/non-intrusive protections).
