My husband and I have been playing this game since it came out. Unfortunately, when the new version 1 came out, we have been unable to connect to each other's game. Typically, I start a game on my computer, setting it up as a 2 player game that is not seen on the list of games in the multiplayer mode, then I invite my husband to my game and we play. Once version 1 came out, every time we tried to connect, the game would freeze while his computer was trying to download the game from my computer, it would crash the game on both of our computers. We have been just trying every so often since then, hoping that this was a problem for others so that a patch or something might fix the problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
We have tried uninstalling and deleting the game, then redownloading. We have tried that thing where you check your game to verify if all the files are good or not (it used to always tell me I had one file that was bad, but yesterday it told me there were 15 files that were bad. so I don't know about all that). We've tried other things too, but I'm getting to the point where I don't really know what I'm doing with computers anymore.
So is there anything in particular that we should be trying/doing/checking? I really miss playing this game with my husband.
