Windows Transfer help?

Hey! I recently got a pc, and had to rebuy the game, which I did through Xbox hoping it would login with my Xbox account that had my worlds, player profile etc, which it did login through, but I don’t have any of my worlds, characters, etc. Could someone please help me figure out how to restore all that?

Any saves or worlds are on the system you were using. If the original saves or worlds were on a PC, you could transfer them. However, if it's on console, I don't know if there is any way to get those off a console to put them on a PC. But I don't use consoles, so maybe there is a way that I don't know about.

That being said, the game is designed to be played many times instead of only once or twice like most games. So starting a new game with a new map isn't really a bad thing. And since you have a PC, you have the option of trying out mods if you want, which you'd want to start a new game with anyhow.

No, saves are not compatible between console and PC. Even if you could copy the files, the format has to be different for the console.
