Trader Spawn Block Direction

So when placing a Trader Spawn Block, it looks like a battery Bank....in what direction should it be placed for the trader to be facing in my desired direction? any images would be greatly appreciated

Pretty sure when you first go to place it, the trader will be facing you. Can always open a vanilla trader and see how they look.

By default, Trader Joel spawns. You'll have to change the meta value to get different traders. I used a tool by Pille called Zombie.
