I have never felt the need to come and give me feedback since I have bought the game. but this change went to far. if I hadn't found out I could toggle this off I would have never touched it again. default just needs to be off. I don't mind this as a toggle to add difficulty to the game. I have nearly 700 hours in this game love it. if I get burnt out I take a break and come back every update. this change almost made me uninstall. biggest reason of my utter disdain for this change is how much I rely on getting the bicycle. it makes the game far more tolerable. especially on Navezgane or other large maps. making the bicycle acquisition take 4 hours, is crazy to me.

Just another method to GATE our progression.  I mean, now I double clear a POI (Clear beforer to starting the Quest); otherwise I'm twiddling my thumbs until daylight doing nothing in early game.  And believe me I memorised most Tier I - IV quests - I'm a freak that way.

Whatever.

You can change the value to anything you want - from one a day to infinite.  Nobody is forcing you to gate your progression since this is something you can adjust to your preference

So it seems you readily accept an unbalanced game for everyone if it gets you an important item early, but are too shy to simply turn on creative menu on day 1 and get the bicycle immediately?

Also even if you are "too shy", you can probably get the bike early as well if you concentrate your perk points on vehicle and workstations perks (actually take lockpicking instead of workstations perks and you will get the bicycle and workbench faster). Then loot all newspaper boxes and mailboxes while doing some quests and you probably can build the bicycle on day 2

The Bicycle in my humble opinion should be easily acquirable. Right now getting a bicycle does require some grinding time. I am not playing Navez anymore cuz traders send you off over 1km away on day 1, the layout of the map seems obsolete also. Without an early-game bicycle, it is not tolerable indeed. Trader would require some serious overhaul, but idk in what direction. What kills crafting are abundant rewards after accomplishing every mission. I believe that looting POIs shall always stay more relevant than trader rewards. Getting XP and dukes is more than enough... I would rather put/see more emphasis on crafting and trading. I would rather get any trader rewards in Tier 4 and 5 missions, perhaps any night mission, but not T1, 2, 3.
