TOOLBELT SHORTCUTS

Can u please shut up and stop being passive agressive to everyone?
Im not shutting up for you. You feel too important. Posting same content in multiple threads can be addressed as i like. (just as countering caps with capts) And if i dont agree with most of your posts, doesnt make me passive aggressive. It makes me not liking your posts. Period. Learn to live with it.

you just kidding right?? nice community)))))
Dead serious; if you disagree, explain to me the significant difference. If that includes you needing to sort out your toolbelt repeatedly, you're already losing time. Any use I'd get from what you suggest, is completely covered by the current equip-function.

Why would you have ammo, casts, and lockpicks in your hot bar to begin with?

Personally not sure what it would bring other than a different way to do what we currently can do. I typically don't have to equip my weapons in a critical moment because I have them already on my toolbar. Everything else I can use when I have some free time to go through my inventory.

I saw the footage.. your way:
Open inventory, mouse over an item, press toolbelt keybind to equip it to that slot.

My way:
Toolbelt keybind for the right slot, click an item, press "forward".

Upside for you: you can setup the entire toolbelt without drag/drop. Which I think is mostly unnecessary, and should never be done in a rush anyway.

Upside for me: using the existing vanilla tech I can get the same utility. Only thing I'd change is to allow to change what slot is equipped while in the inventory.

K bai.

They keep saying nice community but I am starting to think they don't really mean it :)
Yeah.. that is obviously sarcastic. I don't blame him for getting annoyed at the self-appointed modding; but his all caps and tiktok-attitude feels just as trollish.

Another tip for re-setting the whole toolbelt at once, is shift-clicking. Shift click all the slots you want to change, that empties the slots. Then shift click the stuff you want there instead, placing things on the belt, starting from the first free slot. Technically a little slower than what OP wants, but not by much - as you don't need to move hands or think of numbers.
