PC TIPS: Small rock

You can throw small rocks by holding left mouse button for a little while,

and release it. This we knew.

To my surprise, this also distract zombies, so they go check out that rock.

Might be a useful trick to know.

Didn't seem to work on cops though.

I knew about this but haven't tried it myself. Does it only work when the zombies haven't already spotted you? Or are they so ADHD that you can distract them even when they're stalking you?

The rock gets highest priority. Meaning yes, they will stop chasing me, and chase the rock

instead. Except cops. not tested it on dogs either.

It's not as effective as it is in other games but it's pretty good.

I just found some craaaazy POI in the wastelands with a freaking snake pit.

Tons of zeds and dogs and stuff too.

The worry is that it will work too well.

Let's say the Blood Moon zombies run for the rock.

- Make a pit

- Fill it with fire

- Throw rocks all night

- Point and laugh

That wouldn't be good.
