Tie the XP multiplier in settings to the difficulty settings

This is nice idea, every little tweak would give XP multiplier. But game game stage calculations are problem.

Game zombie difficulty is all tied to game stage. (feral, glowing ones, run speed, etc)
Game stage is calculated from multiple things. Player level, kills, days alive without dying, etc.
When you increase XP gain in the game it has counter intuitive affect after short period. Game will become harder.

Your character will level faster, game stage will jump higher. Default 60min day length only gives you that time to find & buy better gear.
Time versus looting containers comes issue. Of course higher game stage increases loot levels.
Also increasing day length from 60 minutes causes same problem. You have more time to gain XP to increase game stage. This will cause 7th day hordes be more difficult.
 
It's an interesting idea, but I've got a contrary view. Right now you can align them if you want to. Implementing this seemingly takes away options from those who use the GUI to make those settings. Or do I misunderstand?
