Although the list of wishes would be loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong. At least maybe I can get someone to make a mod, so the game plays the way I like it :).
 
Yeah, that's a good reason to have them finish the game sooner rather than later. More chance of modders to start focusing on the game more since they won't have to keep updating their mods with every version. That won't matter to people who can't or won't use mods, but for everyone else, it's a good reason for wanting them to finish the game.
 
Well yes and no. It depends on how TFP implements things specifically. If they keep listening to player feedback and implement changes based on that feedback a bit longer development could be a good thing.

This game is stupid simple already. There is hardly any bloat. You want the definition of bloat, check out a few of the bigger overhaul mods.
