You are right, sort of, but you aren't him and he isn't you. This kind of reply to a comment isn't even necessary and was entirely uncalled for

 
I am an Army and Air force vet. Plus i am joining the army again just for the retirement ontop of my Civ career retirement.

And i get that He started off. And yes it shouldent be here but if someone wants to poibt out they cant aford basic living cost i will post off they have byfar mor eimportant things to tackle then a video game. And likely the phone they are paying for posting from.

So yes if he spent half as mich time dealibg with his problem at hand as he did this fourm or game he wouldent be in the current problem.

 
DISABLED AND BEDRIDDEN..... I AM NOT GOING TO STARE AT A FRIGGING WALL. plus as stated I pay my bills online and look at my VA appointments and prescription info and ETA's As for the game it has been paid for what 3 years ago now. Man this got off topic, I was just talking about my love for this game and wanting to experience it in full graphics.

If you can play a game you can work from home. Many job options in that reguard.

You started this whole thing. Could of just said it is not annoption. But sorry i dont have pitty for people that want it. There is tons of options. You. Made the call not to use any of the options. You are a vet sobif at least a US vet you have so many more options to help you. Again you need to man( or woman) up and soilder on. Do what you nees to in order to complete the mission at hand.

Maybe instead of judging others, you should spell check before you hit enter. His original comment sounded NOTHING like he was seeking pity. Maybe you just read too much into words and try and spew propaganda for your own benefit to keep yourself on the pedestal you seem to stand on

 
While i am proud of where i am and the track i am on in life yes.. I am by no means better then anyone. However having a pitty party by seeking it of oh i want a new pc.. But......... There are options out there for a US Vet as they claim no reason for it. I am not judging we all make mistakes how ever. Becoming. Behind in life due to a video game is not sonethibg i think the creatora of this game wantes want or wish.

It's about time I said something: I'm offended with your (and others') repeated use of "fanbois." That is sexist. There are many female players of this game, and they also are fanatical about this game among other things. At least include the word "fangyrls" in your posts in the future. Thank you.

If you mean that his post was "ironic" in the same sense as Alanis Morrisette's song, then you probably are correct.

We don't promote doing away with the designations "men" and "women," so I don't see why we can't have "fanbois" and "fangyrls." The problem is in not using both of them. Now, a reasonable alternative to the clunkiness of having to type both terms would be to have an all-inclusive term, which also would encompass those who don't identify as either a "fanboi" or a "fangyrl." I don't think that "fanpeeps" is that word. I am not a sugary, marshmallow treat, nor am I a fan of them.

We don't promote doing away with the designations "men" and "women," so I don't see why we can't have "fanbois" and "fangyrls." The problem is in not using both of them. Now, a reasonable alternative to the clunkiness of having to type both terms would be to have an all-inclusive term, which also would encompass those who don't identify as either a "fanboi" or a "fangyrl." I don't think that "fanpeeps" is that word. I am not a sugary, marshmallow treat, nor am I a fan of them.

I find that these words continue to be wonderful wisdom. The gamut of reactions to things is so amazing, and they fill me with such joy. Roland, you must laugh a lot when moderating this forum.

also, i initially read the "fanpimps" as "fangimps"
