PC The new water physics SUCK!

I hate water in this game. My dream has always been to build an underwater base with bulletproof glass walls. If you try that, it turns out to be a colossal mess. One of my biggest disappointments in this game is that we can’t incorporate water better into our builds.

 
I feel like water in this game needs its own dedicated update. I honestly don't know how they could make it work nicely; if it worked like in Minecraft it would probably be a bit too much for the game's own good.

 
They didn’t change it because of griefers. They changed the water because it was killing performance the way it was. They experimented with an alternative method that removed falling voxels of water but then never developed it past their initial stab at it. One of these days they’ll return to it.

 
i've always believed that there should be a water pipe system to run to your base so you can keep a water room stocked with water without making possibly long trips and alot of buckets to fill again. of course this would be VERY expensive.
