The missed post from woodle

After the new stuff that came to light I changed my mind, yes it was Tfp fault for sending him the wrong build,

yes it was his fault he streamed it (albeing not knowing it being the wrong build)

And it's (harder to say mind you) but kinda crappy he didn't take down the video. But Yall sent it too him, it's not like he watches other videos. Maybe he through it was A secret thrown his way! A BONE TO THROW if you will (granted no one else got that content or even talked about it after it was posted)

But trying to attack him is not really cool. He *was* a massive cheerleader for the game (I rarely watched his videos I kinda find him annoying) buy still not really deserved.

Yall already tried to fix your rep with 2.0 dropping the ball, yall really messed up now. Do better and make the right choices

At least you could have offended to delete the video for some kind of compassion. IE money

I agree with a lot of what you are saying...and ■■■■ knows I am not the biggest TFP fan, but, I would still like to see a response from them. I don't know if it would help, but, I like to have both sides (if at all possible).

What situation?
Jawoodle was a part of the creator program...he got "the wrong build" from TFP for the 3.0.0 streamer weekend, that had content they did not want to be revealed. That's enough info...no spoilers. lol. You can look into it...or not...without my prejudices. :)

Why am i not shocked that they so far refuse to admit they screwed up. Great way for behavior and TFP to show to others how they handle screw ups they themselves made and how they wont take accountability for it.

This is like the updates bringing back things we used to have after it got removed. Same way LBD will have to make some lond of return. Seems like years mismanagement that keeps on going

"Accept demands from a company that I was not employed by and had no paid content or editorial approval agreement
lol, lmao even

A story as old as time.

Wealthy individual/company makes mistake
Wealthy individual/company refuses to accept their mistake and instead chooses to try and intimidate the little guy with threat of legal action

I’ve been on the fence about TFP and 7d2d for the last three or four years now, but honestly, this is the final straw for me.

You are not a good company.

Your release dates constantly come and go and never materialise. You promise features for years, sometimes more than a decade, and then act like people are unreasonable for asking where they are. You’ve now gone down the micro-DLC route as well, charging $10 for an armour skin that people were originally led to believe was coming as part of an expansion.

That is just scummy on another level.

You’ve been promising bandits since the Kickstarter in 2012. It is nearly 2027 and guess what? We still don’t have bandits.

And now you’re attacking your creator community. The very community that has helped keep this game alive for all these years.

You could have handled this so much better.

You could have just been honest with everyone and said:

“Guys, we goofed. We sent JaWoodle the wrong build. The footage is from an old and unfinished version of the game, so please don’t take it as representative of the final content.”

That’s it. Problem handled.

You sent him the wrong build. That was your fault, not his.

By the time the video was out, thousands of people had already seen it anyway. Trying to remove it after that is the Barbra Streisand effect on steroids. All you’ve done is bring even more attention to it and make yourselves look worse.

You already had a terrible reputation with alot of the community after 2.0. The dumbing down of the game, armour cosmetics becoming paid DLC, the endless bugs, missing features and constantly missed release dates have already pushed people to the edge.

Now you’re trying to copyright strike a smaller YouTuber who has spent years promoting your game and supporting you.

A big company like The Fun Pimps, along with Behaviour Interactive, going after one creator like this looks absolutely pathetic. Do you have any idea how poorly this reflects on you?

You keep blaming the community whenever your plans change as well. Bandits were supposed to be part of 3.0, and then suddenly it was, “No, the community wanted us to focus on survival.”

No. That was your decision.

Stop blaming the people who have kept this game alive. You constantly act like the community owes you something, when in reality its the other way around.

Get off your high horse.

You are a developer. You live and die by the community you create. If you keep attacking that community, especially creators as loyal as JaWoodle has been, then eventually you are going to destroy it.

And honestly, I think this could be the nail in the coffin for alot of people.

It certainly is for me. I’m done, and I won’t be playing 7D2D again.

You'd think by this point people would just understand how the internet works... "TAKE THAT DOWN NOW" has never worked. You're just foolish to try.

TFP should've put some of those legal dollars on PR instead... Manage the fallout. Like you said, release a statement. But instead they do this crap. lmfao For a feature that they promised FOR-EVER ago and STILL haven't delivered on. The audacity to not even realize you're lucky people were even excited to see something, by this point...

If he took it down and others post it again it's there fault not woodles. That's just the internet

I have never seen any of his videos, but now I am curious, what has TFP done wrong here, exactly? Ask that a video which shows proprietary IP is taken down or otherwise...?
