It’s a strange beast. They call it 1.0 for coming out of Steam’s Early Access program and to keep all platform versions aligned but they don’t consider the game finished. The fact that they openly acknowledge the game isn’t done is good news. If they were trying to pass it off as the full release version and moving on completely to their next project then there would be worry. At any rate they are aware of the pre release message and have had a couple of updates where they could’ve changed it.

In the PS store it is still advertised as early acces, the Sony way to avoid refunds. For this reason I waited a few months for finaly giving it a try and I'm having a good time.

(Now I wonder what I missed by never playing the alpha.)

A wild ride. The game changed a lot so we often got a new experience with a new alpha. But you also can´t be salty about a ton of changes and will never miss things we once had.

But you can still have that experience if you want. You can go back to Alpha 8 and every version between that and V1.1 on steam if you want.
