The 7D2D Mod Launcher - A Mod Launcher for 7 Days to Die

That error almost seems like an anti-virus program is running on the files, and it pauses the game's loading long enough to trigger an error. If you could whitelist the install folder  (D:\7D2D in your case), you might be able to prevent that from happening.
How would I do that

im having issues using the launcher. i had it on my old computer and trying to redownload it on my new one. when i load the mod i download it just loads up the normal game.

what is the new version  of the launcher because it seem a lot of people are having issues with it
Its the hosting site, Gitlab, that is causing issues, not so much the Mod Launcher itself.  People with slower internet, and slightly unstable internet, is causing disconnects.

Mods hosted on Azure and Github are not experiencing this issue.

do i have to  pre sync the mod every time i play or is it one time deal

cause i seen some poi's sunk in the ground
Pre-sync downloads the mod, then it keeps it updated. If you have Refresh Mods Automatically checked, it'll do a pre-sync every time you hit play, looking for updates. If it does not find any, it plays. If it does, it downloads, then plays.

I've downloaded the Mod Launcher, but it always shows and Error during install. Error 1001. Ive tried different locations to load the program and have downloaded the installer multiple times, I've turned off AV during download and install, not sure what to try next.

Can definitely vouch for this.  I have satellite internet and anything from Github or Gitlab fails quite often (to the tune of eight hours to try to get ONE mod downloaded).

Azure is spotty for me too.
