The 7D2D Mod Launcher - A Mod Launcher for 7 Days to Die

You probable missed my comment that is right before the one you are quoting; it has a cut down log file showing where I think the pop up originates from and is much longer so, I believe, it had to be approved.
Yes I did, I'm sorry that I missed it. Do you have any anti-virus?

I use AVG, Malwarebytes, and Windows Firewall.

When I looked at the log file I noticed that right before the error there was a spelling mistake in the log:

INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - XML File is loaded.INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Udating Remote Server list

INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Reading Remote Server:

INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Error: This is not an XML file.
I don't now if the spelling mistake is important, but I have some experience with coding so I thought I'd point it out.

Thank you. The spelling error is unrelated to the bug. One of the configs is hosted a non-Github link, so it's throwing an error. I'm pushing 2.0.75 now to fix it.

I do believe its unrelated to the lock up. Have you considered adding your mod folder to the whitelist of AVG? C:\7D2D by default. It could potentially be checking all the files, and causing an issue.

I got the xml error last night as well, after updating. I hadn't had any trouble in the past with Malwarebytes and the launcher.

I uninstalled the launcher, and reinstalled the original download for it and didn't get the xml error. So, there must be something in the update that's screwing stuff up.

I'm using 17.1.

It seems AVG needed updating so after restarting my computer to fully upgrade it I opened the Launcher and updated it and was able to successfully pre-sync Ravenhearst.

Don't know if it was AVG being out of date or the Launcher but it's fixed for me so I'm happy. :smile-new:

The XML error was acknowledged, and patched with the latest release ( 2.0.75). The XML was also non-critical error, and only affected a single A16 mod. Any other issues you may have been experiencing was unrelated to it.

Ahh ok, thank you.

I am having some issues with mods I'm using, in general. Just started yesterday so figured it was related to the update. Could be the mods though. :)

If you can post a game log, I'd be happy to take a look.

Thank you for offering to help but after updating the launcher and changing mods, it all worked without an issue! =)

I don't know why I was using an older version of Taza's Grave but all's good now. lol

Sphereii, hello, sorry for my google english, I do not know what I've played but I get the following error: "No SDX Scripts found" when I run Mod Ravenhearst, and it does not start.

Warn: "The entry point of the ReleaseSemaphore procedure in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll can not be found"

Thank you very much for your time, greetings.

Could you post a log file? After trying Ravenhearst, click on the View menu, then Log Files, and click on Upload Log file. Then give me the pastebin.com link, and I'll take a look.

Sorcery is now integrated into The 7D2D Mod Launcher

Thanks to @sphereii's hard work,
Sorcery is now fully integrated into the Mod Launcher! :)

You'll find it in the Mods list of the newest launcher version.

If you're new to using the launcher, visit the Sorcery thread for detailed instructions.

Don't forget to thank sphereii for his hard work... enjoy!

Where are your modlets stored, and I'll link them in.

Thank you. I do not see an error that would cause it to fail. Can you try to start the game again? Then reupload the log file.
In the view log screen, you can also pick the game's output lot. Uploading that may help too
Thanks for your work and especially for your time, it was solved by deleting everything and reinstalling, all ok, again a thousand thanks
