I just wanted to pop on here to say, well done fun pimps.

I was 100% unimpressed with A17 public build 1. (forget version number)

I legit asked myself out loud, "What the hell have they been doing?"

But, after playing a few dozen hours of B221, well, i have to say im so impressed how quickly and efficently you guys nailed that last unstable build to the wall.

I still hate you guys for near death experience. Please, disable the part where it drops your inteligence. A near death experience doesnt cause you to suddenly forget how to build a forge... cmon now.

Other than that tho, I just wanted to say keep up the good work and why the hell did it take you this long if you are THIS good at what you do?

Agreed completely. I like near death, since dying should be scary, but after playing a bit I think removing the int debuff serves well. I can live with reduced str and such.

Im gona look further into custom balancing for NDE. I currently have it set to last 1 second on my server cuz... I dont want to take the time to decode how to disable the bit about INT but keep the rest.

If I could tho, I would. Im fine with the rest of NDE cept that it somehow makes you forget recipies. :3 Id even take the -INT as long as I could still craft my things, even if it is at lower quality.

Nerd glasses, magazines and high level food are all fine to counter it out if you die but... You cant just make that stuff.

Few of my friends are still having bugs and such like bicyles getting stuck randomly and some other things like Radiation not appearing on the map and boom, you lose EVERYTHING you had due to nothing you could control. Or lag-walk into metal spikes. xD

If the game was stable, MAYBE, i can see TFP's point but the game is supposed to startle and spook ya- not make it so a penalty for dying is spending a day in your base while you wait for NDE to expire cuz you cant craft anything nor effectively defend yourself.

If you got buddies- No problem really.

If you are a soloist tho, it REALLY screws you over to near unplayable or just spend an hour doing literally nothin...

If magazines or nerd glasses were craftable, lvl 1 id have no complaint about NDE.

Yeah lol I admit the crafting thing can suck. I rage quit the first MP server I did in forever. Was a pure PVP one (and I know the game isnt balanced for it but still) and heard of a big raided base from a banned exploit user and went to scavenge and raid a bit more that was unraided. DUde from nowhere 2-pinged me dead from god know where with a sniper. I had a new bicycle in my storage, treked allll the way back after 25 mins... and the dude was camping a roof and popped me while I was looting the bag. Realized my character forgot how to build bikes now. 100% done now lol. I think all other debuffs are fine, and I thought the crafting one was too... but now I see it's annoying lol. Very little makes me salty, but that certainly did.
