So I tested a Gore Block mod, and spawned a lot of zombies manually, due to my POI base not spawning the horde.. wont build in a POI again. So I spam spawned 200 at a time, after 200 the computer lags hard. For testing super spammed to one side of base, 'what happens if I kill 1000 in 1 direction'.
I don't see the problem with Gore Blocks, (not the Alpha 15 objects, I mean the Alpha 14 actual gore blocks). They only make the destroyed base look more glorified, and during horde night, they nerf spike traps, but thats fixable 'if even needed'. I spam 1400 spike traps etc. The blocks were 75 hp each so lowering that could solve it. The blocks themselves help the zombie ai try new things, help break builds, they don't really make zombies scale super high because in the process of shooting the zombies the blocks pop aswell sometimes. I enjoyed them personally. I think in order to re-introduce them, the player should have multiple tools to clean them up easily, and it sounds silly but all I need is a flamer that one shots them and auto gathers the resources, dealing 0 damage to any block other than gore.
+Gore improves zombie ai in curiousity, or breaks pathing to 'super bases'.
+Gore (if done right) can look really cool, and make your base look more like it was in a battle the night before.
-Gore nerfs spike traps, so spike traps might be used more while doing quests instead of basing.
-Gore is tedious to clean-up unless we are given a flamer like weapon to insta-spray an entire section (only after horde nights)
