Windows Terrain resetting

G'Day all,

Start a Random-Gen in 2.0 and put a claim tile down in a POI, I started to build a horde base near the POI (about 30 blocks away) in a open area (Not POI) in the desert. I got some digging and blocks down and called it a night, next day I start the game and half the work I did was gone and the the terrain reseted. Started working on the horde base again and ran out of wood so went to chop down some trees not far away. Came back and part of the base was gone with a tree in the middle of it and terrain reset.

Anything I can do to fix this from happening?

Did no quests at the start of building or during the building of the base
The POI I moved into and put the claim block down hasn't changed

Thanks
AusTerran

Sounds like you may have enabled automatic chunk resets, or something else. Would need the log from when the issue happened to really be able to tell you anything.

There is a reason this post is Pinned...

I checked my saved game setting and had "Chunk reset Time" at 30 Days, setting to Disabled seems to have fixed the problem. So thank you.
I am not sure why setting it to 30 days would reset it if I walked away from the area though.

I added a log file just in case, and yes I should have added one in my post, my bad :(

Did you use cheats to turn back time at any point? (Either using st command or adjusting the date/time slider with DM on?) I've seen that force the game to reset the chunks earlier than intended

Yes, I used reset time command (F1). I have used that command after I changed the "Chunk reset Time" setting and haven't had a problem since.
