PC Suggestions for Comparable games ?

Yeah I expected it to be light on content currently but from what I have seen so far it could turn out to be a decent game.

As to the poop they 'really' want to be realistic or they played way too much Ark ;)

Its a good fresh Ea title. Now i have 25 Hours and know how the things work

Sadly there is nothing realy Singleplayer/PVE content.

All you can build is that

Hideout and Crates are saved, the campfire is gone after some time/relog.

But in the same time i would build a small house in 7D2d

But Hunting makes really fun and fighting the zombies is fine too.

If you scout a small area the foodsystem is nice, sadly if you run a longer distance its annoying, 5 Kilometers = i eat 2 full bags of food and needed to poop 4 times

I'm trying to play this game, but after I adjusted a video setting (motion blur) the screen changed to a fence with trees and won't do anything else. Go one hour left before I get a refund I guess....

 
Btw if you start new

* Search ground for "Look for rocks"

* Build stone knife

* Search ground for "Look for rocks"

* Build axe head

* Chop a bush

* Build Rope (maybe you need to bind some sticks together and move to a other bush if not enough sticks but you can make small sticks from large sticks)

* Build stone axe

* Chop a tree

* Build 2 Wood spears

* Hunt your first zombie

* Cut his clothes into rags

* chop the zombie and make a bone needle

* Chop a near tree (or 2-3) and make so many ropes you need

* Make backpack

Gz now you can play far more decent

 
Scum sounds like The Forrest did when I first got my hands on it. I hear it's come a long way, and will probably buy it someday. Haven't really had time in a couple years though.

So far I'm not particularly impressed. Not much to do and combat feels awkward to me. Can't seem to kill a zombie lol. My aim with a spear is horrible and melee is just weird and if you run out of stamina, it's pretty much lights out.

An it likes to freeze my computer up with hard reset the only way to reboot.

I heard if you buy the bundle pack or whatever it is called you will poop out something you can use. Someone said they pooped out a gun once. Now that had to hurt like hell coming out.

Sounds like overheating. Time to clean and rearrange components for better airflow.

 
So is this a thread about how you hate all other games that do it better than 7 days? or? I mean if mist to you feels like a "one man dev team" (and by that i mean it runs at 60 fps in 4k constant while streaming, has no game breaking bugs, doesn't stutter, has content, you can actually build things store things and do things) Than what excuse does the fun pimp have, they haven't even gotten raiders in yet. 4.5 years down the road.

All those games you listed are great games, I think your problem is that they actually provide a challenge and aren't just a adult version of minecraft wher eyou can make a mob grinder and stand there and pretend you've accomplished something.

Wow... that was kinda rude Skippy. I wouldn't have expected that from you. People are just discussing the differences of play style and are completely entitled to their own opinions of what they like to play. Just lost a lot of respect for you.

Well, I don't know if I'd go that far. But it does seem like Skippy is kinda having a bad day orhas lost his Mojo for 7 days. I sure hope not as I've enjoyed watching his content in regards to this game. Here's to hoping once 17 drops you find something to be excited about again, Skippy.

 
Stay away from Scum at the moment

They have no Experimental releases and delete your stuff and characterprogression all the time.

Currently in singleplayer your crates are not saved.

And the Moderators are cool, they simple delete/move away/merge away all threads.

saying that this is not ok = instand permabann from community

Thats really a joke

They fixed the crates so far i see this. Only vanilla container and the ability to store items are still buggy

 
Yeah I think I'm going to wait a little while on scum. I'm looking at the forest but not sure yet. I think after a year and half to maybe 2 years we are finally starting to get full weekends off and the timing couldn't be better. With A17 coming up, red dead redemption 2 and a few others I will actually get to play and enjoy playing. Has anyone heard any word if they will bring RDR2 to PC like GTA5? Last I seen anything it was just speculation and no official word. Either way looks like I will play it on the ps4 lol. But yeah the forest so far from what I seen looks interesting.

 
I own The Forest and Subnautica, and I play Subnautica far more than the forest. Probably because of the world: scenery, animals, etc... and the 3D movement

Rofl just saw that one moderator in scum forums is no longer a moderator ^^

Nothing bad left i could reason a warning with. Maybe except the low amount of content in week 3 after release.

And compared to 7D2D SCUM has no real basebuilding (3 kinds of crates, 2 kinds of campfire and one shelter (as expensive respawn point))

And allways remember, you need not to run faster than the zombies and Bears. You need only to be faster than the other guy ^^
