Suggestion: Add 'skip intro and skip news on startup' to game options

Given the feature is already implemented (launch options), why isn't it accessible by the in game options GUI?

There's room in settings/general to add a setting e.g:

Skip on startup:

  - Nothing

  - Intro and News

  - Intro only

  - News only

It's mildly annoying to have to skip this each time. I'm 100% not interested and it's just one other thing making me more likely to put this down and play something else - my 2c.

On searching I found you can add

-skipnewsscreen=true -skipintro


to steam launch options.
 

I can't imagine it would take much to implement this and these small QoL things are what distinguish soso games from great ones.

Probably not a priority for them, and it is an easy way for them to promote their products.

Also, not sure why an additional 7-8 seconds loading time would cause you to stop playing this game:

Nothing disabled - 21 seconds

With everything disabled - 14 seconds

I can see it being an annoyance if it took longer than 5 minutes to load up, but everything loaded and ready to go in under 30 seconds is pretty fast IMHO.

Its already an option as you found out yourself. Just put the parameters in the textbox and your done. There is no problem. What do you win by an extra set of options? Its a one time thing to do. You make it sound you have to jump a thousand hoops to disable something. And then putting the game down over it. Do you actually believe that yourself?
