PC Studying Things...?

Have I got my memories crossed... or did 7 Days to Die used to have research table, and you could put weapons and things on it and study them? Doing so "used them up" but taught you more and more, and you learned to make them and then better versions of them over time. I'm certain it was in a much older version of the game but I could also have my memories crossed with an entirely other game. I recall having a shotgun I found, and throwing every other one I found on the research table which added to my shotgun making skill.

Maybe you are thinking of when we used to combine parts to make better parts, and then assemble those parts to make guns.

QL ran from 1-600. It was before they went to the current mod system.

Mind you I've only played since A19, but I haven't seen anything like that. It does sound an awful like an overhaul mod like Mirror was saying. I want to say Undead Legacy, but I'm sure there are a few that use a similar mechanic.
