Stuck on loading screen while trying to join a server

Me and my friends started playing on a server and after a while of progress the chunks stopped loading and people started falling through maps forcing the game to crash and so on but when we try to join the server all of us get stuck on the loading screen with noises in the background.

Any help will be appreciated
