PC Stuck air drop marker in the sky

Hi everyone,

I have a yellow air drop marker stuck in the sky on my dedicated server. The crate itself is not there, just the marker floating in the air with nothing under it. It's confusing players who keep going to check it.

The marker has been there for several days and won't go away. I'm fine with editing server files, but I want to avoid deleting the region or resetting the map.

Is there any way to remove this ghost marker through save files or some other edits without wiping player builds?

I am no familiar with servers, but can you like do a reboot? Like in a solo game I would just restart the game.
 
I'd do a search for a reference to an airdrop in the server/world files and delete it.

If you go to the marker and write down the coordinates, I would think you would find something very close to that in the file as well.

I don't know how that could hurt. the question is "where" do you find that.

I've already checked the files and didn't find anything. That's why I posted here — I was hoping someone from the developers or someone familiar with the file structure could point me in the right direction.
 
This may be a bug with your UI mod. Not necessarily, but maybe. If your UI mod is client-based and not on the server itself, try removing it temporarily and see if the marker disappears. Other than that, I have no suggestions and you should ask in the Game Support forum or Bug Report forum as those are the places where you'll get more staff help.
