PC Strange visual thing that keeps happening in the middle of horde night

For the last 3 horde nights, towards the end of the main horde... all of a sudden my "vision" goes all blurry, very similar to the effect you get if you drink beer or get concussed. Once this kicks in, it lasts till the horde ends, then my vision returns to normal. I have no adverse buffs showing while this is happening, only a Recog buff and the buffs from my Drone are showing. Very annoying. I am the host for a 2 player co-op server. This effect does not occur at any other time, only middle of horde night. Any help?

Are you sure you're not being spitted at or standing in goop the entire time?

Perhaps you have dynamic resolution turned on, and your system is struggling to render the horde in particular so that’s when it reduces resolution and things look blurry as a result.
