Storage and crafting

Since the servers are the same (epic games) as ark ascended can we get a storage system similar to the dedicated storage system on ark? Where if the crafting benches are close enough to the storage boxes within range they can pull directly from those storage boxes when crafting in the benches?
Or like as in minecraft(if previous option mentioned is too much for the coding to handle as is) one singular box (different from normal storage boxes) connected to each specific bench (like The box and Hopper combination in Minecraft into a furnace type situation)

What does the use of EOS for handling crossplay identifications have to do with whether or not storage can be used directly with workstations? In any case, this has been brought up numerous times over the years and the answer from TFP is the same. There are challenges with doing it and it is not a priority for them at this time. Mods are available in the meantime.

I'm on console and was looking for a similar if not same option for PS5

did you do any looking before this request as from your description there is a plethora of mods to do this.
such as "Craft From Containers" on https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/2196 or is this not what you are asking for?
I did in fact look through 159 pages worth of above mentioned topics none of which that I saw contained what I was looking for or the threads were in fact mismarked and not obviously touching on the information I was looking for but thank you for mentioning the plethora of pages to look though as I am aware that most don't actually go through and look for the topics they are curious about.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my thread and your reply. I am aware that there are no current structuring for my topic I chose to broach and although I am sure there are or have been posts and or community notifications about this particular topic in the past, I have not been privy to them due to timing or lack of notice on my part(I'm only just now joining the discord due to lack of using it in the past I have missed out on this information)

I brought up the eos part because I play ark ascended and they have such a storage/crafting as I was inferring to. And was using it as an example of other games using the same server systems as it and was merely asking if it was possible to get something similar to that system of storage/crafting without have to rework the whole system (causing bugs for already readily available items and systems) or maybe an implementing of a NEW item that could be looked into while they are busily working on improvements they are already looking at.

EOS is just for making crossplay identifications work since each system uses its own identifiers. The fact that the two games both use it doesn't mean that one game can do what another does. It would be the same as saying that because game X and game Y are both on Steam so they should be able to have the same features. It just isn't at all connected to crafting from containers. There is no code in the EOS stuff that is related or could be copied to make it work. Whenever they decide to work on it (if they ever do), they'll have to start it from scratch.

Note that although I don't care about crafting from containers (I can take it or leave it), I wouldn't mind being able to be in the same container as someone else or viewing the trader's inventory at the same time as someone else. But they've said it's not a priority for them right now and I wouldn't expect to see them adding that anytime soon.

Was not implying that the servers they are played on was enough basis for coding I'm sorry if it came off that way I was simply that an option for something of that nature would be nice. Considering I specified when looking for similarly appropriate threats relating to PS5 console based information knowing that our versions of the game are still under construction and the best time for ideas like this is before things are finalized. And it never hurts to refresh a topic from time to time because things (especially in BIG projects like this) tend to get forgotten when put on the back burner for another days concepts. Again thank you for your time and effort in explaining these things for me. Have a wonderful day.

One last clarification... the game is not played on Epic servers. The game is either played peer to peer, meaning one person hosts the game and others connect to them (no servers involved), or by using a dedicated server, which is a server that the player(s) rent and run the game from that. There aren't any official servers.
