Stop nuking worlds when EVERY “update” comes out

This game has been in development for 10 plus years now and it STILL is considered a “beta” with Storms Brewing being delayed from the PROMISED date, survivors like myself are pissed to see how TFPs as geriatric as they are, are nuking worlds when every “update” comes out.

I have put nearly 400+ hours in my current world that IS V1.4 Neither me nor my friends want to keep starting over whenever these old men have one of their scatterbrain ideas and you as “community moderators” will defend them for their potheaded choices.

The “storms brewing update” is NOT a game changing update as it primarily focuses on biome diversity and overhaul. As something as minuscule as that should not warrant a whole entire nuke on others worlds.

I’m gonna say the old standby here which is; you should’ve had this implemented ages ago, but because your bosses are geriatric old men, you get a dev team that is just as slow and geriatric as they are.

I’m sick and tired of having to deal with all of these unnecessary changes, all of these unnecessary nerfs and a complete disassociation with the player base. You made a flag for Thick44 (a registered S.O. BTW) when he died but you were never there for us when your game died. The player agency has been diminished because of these choices and we’re sick of it.

As such, I am starting to believe that this whole IP needs to be sold off to someone who knows what they are doing and knows NOT to get rid of MY fun when an “update” comes around.

Truly embarrassing and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The only good thing about my post, is Space Marine Devito.

I don't believe Thick44 was a registered S.O. You are confusing him with someone else with a similar last name. You should check those things out first before making ill remarks against the deceased.

How right you are. Self burns are always the best

You are playing a game that is in active development and incomplete. You can't expect old saves to work in new versions. If that's too hard to accept, then don't play the game until it is finished.

Major updates (2.0, 3.0, 4.0) will all most likely require a new save because of the significant changes and additions to the game. That's just how it is. They try to limit needing to start new saves, which is why you can still play a 1.0 save in 1.4. But major changes require new saves. If it's too much to start a new game, then just don't update until you are ready to start a new game. It's not that hard.
