PC Stone Axe Versus Iron Axe Amount Of Wood From Trees Differs

First of all, I'm running a couple mods, which is why I'm asking about this here instead of making a bug report.

Anyway, I've completed the Art of Mining series, which now gives a 20% (before Mother Lode is applied) bonus to ore gained when mining.  Seems to work fine for ore.  But when chopping a tree with a stone axe, I get 330 wood for a 1200 health tree, while chopping it down with an iron fireaxe only yields 300 wood.

I don't know which is the intended result, but I was curious if anyone else has encountered this, or if it was (somehow) related the the couple mods I'm running.

 
The difference usually has to do with the additional swings it takes to fell a tree with a stone axe vs an iron axe and probably rounding as well. I think their focus is on the amount of wood recovered by each swing and not the amount of wood in the tree itself.
