Hey everyone,
My question is: when Steam Workshop integration arrives, will those mods be compatible with EAC enabled? Ideally, I’d love to add fun content for the group without having to sacrifice the protections EAC offers. And at the very least, will mods that do support EAC be clearly labeled, so hosts like me can make informed choices?
I’m really looking forward to the upcoming Steam Workshop integration. Personally, I enjoy playing vanilla, but my friends like having extra features such as more weapons and vehicles. In the past, I’ve run into issues where disabling EAC for mods opened the door to some players exploiting that, which takes away from the experience. From what I understand, most mods currently require turning off EAC to work. I understand there’s always some risk with modding, but will using the Workshop make things more secure compared to manually installing mods?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
