Steam client is not running or no connection possible

Hi all,

first sorry for my english this is not my native language.

I'm playing 7D2D on Console and yesterday i thought i'll buy it on Steam to play 7D2D on my MAC.

After installing, i launched the game like other games through Steam but for some reasons everytime pops up this little window

"steam client is not running or no connection possible; Retry or Cancel".

When i click on retry nothing happens, click on Cancel it's working.

If this Problem is solved in any way, can u pls share that link with me :)

On the other hand can pls somebody help me to start this game?

I really should get a Mac OS and build a PC with all these spare parts I have laying around. Then I could maybe troubleshoot it more. I hate trying to learn a new OS, though I suppose it shouldn't be too far off from Linux.

I was looking into doing something similar before, for testing.

Ok, Ok, :)

The Solution was very simple.

Just deinstall the game from steam then deinstall steam itself and reinstall everything again, very simple :D
