PC Stealth Perk from the shadows

So I noticed something recently. With this perk I can use a steel pickaxe to demolish a wall next to a sleeper, and my detection doesn't spike above 1-2 (usually stays at 0) Yes, I have advanced mufflers in my armor, if that helps at all.

But if I go to upgrade something I spike quickly to 40 then with the next hit or 2 75 - 80.

What's up with that?

Does the muffling not apply to repair / upgrade, or is it not modifying it, and is it intended not to modify those noises?

Thanks.

Yeah it seems to be badly implemented in some places, same as when a whole poi will activate when you are making no noise. Dont know if upgrading was just missed, would be odd if it was intended when you can knock walls and doors down with little noise.

There are a number things to look out for when exploring:

- Jumping or specifically landing which generates sound (always have ramp frames for when i need to ascend ir descend something)

- hitting metal objects like reinforced doors, metal plates or bars (i hit wooden walls to bypass)

Even though i agree that the stealth still needs refinement in some areas.

I keep ramps for the same reason, but with the skill at level 5, steel pickaxe on metal doors, walls, or whatever rarely spikes my detection.

Have or craft on the spot. I always have rocks, plant fiber and wood stacks in the bag to quickly craft anything needed or do some repairs. Dismantling unwanted frmes for needed space is a must and i can craft as much as i need in various situations.

This right here, also I am prioritizing loot as I loot it, sure it may all just get "R" into the backpack, but then while I'm waiting for crap to become scrap, I shift stuff around, keep is on the top, stuff I'd like, but don't really need on the bottom, just in case I need to scrap or toss before I get back to my loot box just inside the building entrance.

Most situations are fine with 2 ramps. Constantly juggling space, especially at the start, tends to make you pare down as much as possible. Still usually end up fully laden and doing a slug impression to get out!
