Hello people! I have a dedicated server with an Asus Tuf Gaming B450m-plus 2 M.2 Aura Sync B450 motherboard. Ryzen 7 3700,Memoria Ram Corsair Vengeance Rgb Pro 16gb (2x8gb) 3200mhz, ssd disk: 240 KINGSTON SV300S37A240G. I am thinking of buying one with Interfaces: NVMe. But I do not know which one. Which one do you recommend, is it worth it?

When it comes to gaming capacity beats speed with nvme drives.

I have the western digital black sn750. Works great and comes with great management software.

I do not perceive a performance difference between that and my older crucial ssd.

I have a Samsung 960 evo nvme(256gb) and sabrent rocket nvme(1tb).

There was no difference between either when running the dedicated server off each even though the sabrent had better read and write speeds

But why just a 250GB ?

Sure for a simple server it might be enough, but the 500GB mosttimes cost the same like a 250GB or just little more.

We've got Evo 860's in our servers, and they manage the load just fine. Longevity can be a bit of an issue though. We're probably only going to see about 6 years out of these SSD's instead of the typical 15-20.

As for space, you never want your SSD/NVMe to go above 60% used. So plan your sizes accordingly.

because it is expensive here in Argentina, could see me stretched to 500 gb. Yes my mistake :(. But hey the system is clean and it is only dedicated to 7 days to die. ah and a 1tb hdd for the backup.
