Sprinting doesn't end the first time stamina reaches zero when tapping sprint on bike.

Dear darling Jugginator (or alternatively anyone else reading this), I once again have the sad duty to inform you about a bug. When you are riding a bike and tap shift to sprint, at some point your stamina reaches zero. Your speed slows down but you down stop sprinting as displayed by the sprint icon next to stamina still being there. When your stamina regenerates a bit (to 25 it seems), you start sprinting once more without having to press the sprint button again. This annoys me. When your stamina reaches zero again, you stop sprinting. This is good. And just to confirm, this is with Sprint Lock off. If that matters. Much love and adoration!

Reproduction Steps
  1. Have stamina
  2. Get on a bike
  3. Tap the sprint button to start sprinting
  4. Continue
  5. Run out of stamina
  6. Observe the icon
  7. Wait to regenerate a bit of stamina

It's been that way since they added sprint lock. I actually prefer that as it will always give you the maximum speed without having to keep pressing shift. Note that if you hold shift, this has the same effect and shift lock is supposed to imitate holding shift. If it's an issue let go of shift for a split second and it'll turn off sprint lock.

I don't quite grasp what you're trying to say. This certainly feels like a bug considering the behaviour is different between the first and second times the stamina reaches zero and being on foot and on the bike (as it doesn't occur when running). Furthermore, I found out that it only happens if you start sprinting with full stamina.

Hm... I missed that you said it stopped. Maybe that's changed in 2.0 (or broke). It used to be that you could leave sprint lock enabled on a bike and it would continue sprinting repeatedly whenever stamina went up again.

As far as running being different, you expect to need to fight while on foot, so you don't want to constantly be out of stamina. But on a bike, the expectation is that you are going to keep riding and not fighting, so low stamina doesn't matter. At least that how I looked at it and it worked well for me that way.

Okay, I did some testing. It does seem that something isn't working quite right with it. Sometimes it will not maintain the sprint lock on the bike and sometimes it will. I thought I had tracked it down to if you tap Shift between 0 and 25 stamina as a way to lock it so it stays locked even with low stamina, but even though that worked most of the time, it didn't always stay locked. So I'm not sure why it is acting differently when running out of stamina on the bike. I was able to keep it locked at one point for a long time, but then the next time it kept unlocking after 1-3 times running out of stamina.
