PC Spontaneous Combustion Mini Bikes

For anyone still left on here, did we ever find out why the mini bikes will sometimes appear to spontaneously combust?

I was playing yesterday and had spent 2 days building a structure, so I wasn't traveling or using my bikes at all. I came back to my 2 bikes in the morning (both are located next to my living area) and they were at 0 durability and gas. They were smoldering, but they were not attacked by anything. They were just trashed for no obvious reason. Someone mentioned this happening to them as well, probably about a month ago.

Did we ever figure out why this happens?

On a related note, did we ever figure out why nothing else in this game works like its supposed to either?

No need to be rude. The devs have done the best they can with a game that had some really difficult unforeseen problems.

As for your question, it's most likely caused by bad data being sent. Bikes are easy to remake so meh

 
Yeah, no need to whine, either. The vast majority of the game works as it's supposed to work. Something like this should be posted in the bugs section. There are a lot of people working on problems and every little bit of information helps. If you don't like the game, then stop playing it. Otherwise, be constructive and help.

 
I've only had this happen once when I had just traveled a good distance from a starting base to start a base from scratch. It was a long walk back for supplies haha, but only advice I can give is to always have repair kits and spare gas stored in your bike.
