Spider and Feral wight tlc

These zombies are a bit of lack luster in terms of being special especially the spider.

Spider

  • Now have a venomous bite that blurs vision and causing signt issues like if your drunk. If he hits you twice then you get moonshine level blur and hp lost
  • When they leap at you they can deal damage when they hit you
  • Climbing abilty like it use too. With a simple climbing animation
  • Can spray webs or shoot a yellow glob of snot that slows you down like insect swarms
Feral wight
  • Ground pound abilty that does aoe damage and can stun you
  • Lunge attack that makes me leap towards you
  • Can leap and ground pound at the same time.
  • Can comeback from the dead (with 50% hp) unless you destroy its head
Screamer
  • Has a scream animation like the plauge spitter
  • AOE scream abilty can stun you and weaken you
  • Can scream directly at you to stun you
  • Can spawn on horde night but can't spawn zombies but they still scream
Bonus
  • Cops: acid can spray like a flamethrower if your too close and acid deals damage over time and weakens armor
  • Plauge spitter: depending on the Varrants they can spit out stronger glowing bugs and or more weaker ones
  • Frostclaw: melee attack deals a higher chance of bleed damage
  • Mutated zombie: can spit a volley of radioactive goo at you or emit a Radioactive pulse
 
I love all of these ideas! I started playing in A19 shortly after (I think) they made the spider no longer climb walls. It lost the one thing that made it "spider" like (very few spiders jump). I wish it could climb again to add another wrinkle to base design/defense. I love all of the additional special abilities for the various special infected.

IMO, POI Screamers should behave just like normal screamers with the ability to call in other zombies. Without that ability, they're just another zombie.

I forgot to list the poi screamer. I would love them in pois as a natrual alarm system maybe they are "heavy sleepers" so they are harder to wake up but if you do then it not only wakes up the poi but summons zombies.

I played on console and the spiders always got in my base someway shape or form so I remember those ■■■■ers. But now they are just... not a threat.

When they leap they are so vulnerable it's laugh able. I kinda took the idea of something like the feral from state of decay but removed the Crack head part and replaced it with more spider like aspects like poison and webs

Also screamer must stop spawning zombies and instead attract nearby roaming ones
Spider zombies also could jump right on you and trigger capture animation (with option to cancel it with pressing F and punching him in the face with fist)
 
We desperately need a "knocked down" status and animation (like in Dying Light) so that they can introduce new zombies that can actually ■■■■ing charge you and knock you to the ground! Until they introduce that kind of animation, all we can get is some damage and red splashes.

Agree! There is so much stuff in Dying light which could fit well in 7 days! 7 days feels so empty, raw and boring

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Dying Light is superior for what regards story, zombie behavior and NPCs, but 7D2D has an entire world (map) that you can destroy, change and build on however you like. Each and every building you see on the horizon is like that. DL has a beautiful and varied city, but there's no terraforming and no changing the landscape.

Each has its own merits I'd say.
