If anyone has issues getting your cosmetic items. You not only have to click the cosmetic and link your account but also must go inside a game (SP, Multiplayer, whatever) and hit Esc. Once you do that click "Twitch" then "Login Twitch". Once you do that a page will open up and you will be asked to install an extension. Accept the extension and once you have twitch controls in-game your cosmetic should be automatically applied to your account, if not then click Connect again on the cosmetic. That worked for me. Irritating but it finally worked.

You do not have to login to twitch in the game or download an extension. That's only needed if you want to use the twitch integration in the game. If it helped you get the cosmetic, great, but it's not necessary.

I can't even claim it no matter how much I click claim on the drop it just won't claim

Not able to claim the purple hat at all. My accounts were linked then they weren’t. And I am not able to find answers anywhere. On Xbox console btw.

Any one else have these issues?
