my steam account was however properly linked as requested, there must have been a time count issue on the stream, because I found myself stuck at 60% viewing time while I was present throughout the stream.
How to recover the 'Purple Pump Hat' now, will there be other streams allowing us to drop it?

Same for me but Ps5 account and Ive logged in and out of game and I've also tried starting a new world. The disconnect "looks" like something is wrong when I try to collect the drop from Twitch but that's a guess. Super disappointing guys.
The drop page states that the campaign will run until July 29. Until then, you can get the drop on every stream from fubar_prime.
According to the schedule, the next stream is tonight at 11 p.m. ET (4 a.m. MET).
Keep in mind that this is a forum and not a chat room. People aren't reading constantly. There was already a dev post in this thread about how to get it. If that didn't work, you'd need to wait until a dev is online again and reads the thread. Sometimes that can take up to 24 hours or even more.
In any case, if RipClaw is right about it still running until the end of the month, you can try again each time fubar_prime streams.
@Kyoji 30mins was needed. I got the DM on twitcfh after 30mins and stopped the stream.
Now obtaining it, was a pain. Had way better experiences in other games. Never had to link my account before and the afterwards agaim. Never had to restart the game twice to get it to work. DIdn´t help either that twitch had an issue and i had to click claim several times after refreshing the page.
If you guys do that again, please try and make it more user friendly.
Anyone that has the hat can you upload a pic of the hat so I know what I'm missing? I don't have twitch or any social media and don't get into these things. But just curious about it.
Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with verification. The link page, which can be accessed in the browser, only states that it worked, but it apparently doesn't forward the activation to Twitch. I found a workaround: Open a new game, activate Twitch integration, and use the redirect with the code I received. Then Twitch is linked.

I have the same issue and I play from Xbox app PC. I still haven't received the hat even though I have claimed it "several" times in twitch. I will provide proof if needed.
Honestly, kinda sad I didn't get the hat even though I watched the entire stream. Progress just completely stopped and never continued. Hope they at least allow other streamers the ability to have drops.

This Twitch drop should be obtained for watching any 7 days to Die stream on Twitch, we shouldn't have to wait for 1 single dev to stream who never streams, is never on time and who's never heard of Europe... all his streams are early morning and very short streams, this whole process is a total joke... it needs addressing asap

There should also be a longer stream to watch or even a 24/7 live stream to watch on a loop, for people in different time zones and for people who have to sleep and work............. 1 short stream at a random time is not enough time!
Is anyone else having issues with the connection of their Steam account? I click the 'connect' button on Twitch's drops page, I then sign into Steam, after which I get the page that says my account was successfully connected and I then return to the Twitch Drops page where it now shows a 'Refresh' link at the side of the 'Connect' link. I click on Refresh like it says to, but nothing happens; I still have the 'Connect' link which should have disappeared if the connection worked...right???
It has done in the past of other drops.
Is this an issue with Twitch, Steam, or Fun Pimps?
Since drops for other Steam games are working, I suspect it is Fun Pimps that is not registering the connections or something.

My friend was having the same problem with the whole "connect" button, and I recommend opening up 7days and making a new world, and then entering your inventory, and at the top right of your character portrait, there should be a little closet icon. That should take you to your cosmetic list and should be at the very end of the list.
My friend did that, and it showed up in-game. If it is not in your inventory, then I have no clue. Hope this helps.
